First of all I have to start with a story. - Help.com

First of all I have to start with a story.

There is a friend that we have who is in my back yard with his entire construction crew building a very large swingset in our back yard for our daughter. This man is the most generous person I have ever met. Here is a brief list of things I have witnessed.

Countless Checks written (Many to my family) that add up to thousands of dollars
Gift Certificates to families for groceries
Countless Donations to charities and missions
Car Loads (Heaping) of toys to needy families for Christmas
Paying for peooples dinners at restaurants
Buying peoples groceries in line at the market
and Much Much!!! More

Here is where it becomes incredible:
His wife passed away with cancer a little over a year ago and gave specific instructions of what to do with what she left behind. Here family took him to court accusing him of taking advantage of her during her last few days in order to get the inheretance. Since this day he has drained every penny from his savings/retirement spending what I can gather would add up to approx. $60,000.00. Spending every last penny he has to try and honor is wifes wishes that left him nothing. This man would make a little girls day with a swingset over paying his mortgage payment. This is a man who deals with resentment, selfishness, and the mourning of his wife and still is more concerned with Gods will. You and I both know that this is what we are all called to be. But at the end of the day would we sacrifice our well being for the benefit of others. Even if we wanted to say yes I don’t think we all have it in us.
This man is in danger of losing his house due to the passing of his wife. The bank will not work with him because (even though he has made the payments for the past year and a half) they say he can not afford the house. He has already lost the inheretance and I fear will lose the house. Meaning though he has done everything in his power he was not able to fufill any of his wifes wishes. I know I am asking a favor that seems impossible but was wondering if we could somehow find a way to pay off this mortgage. This is something that is going to take massive amounts of work and prayer. Let’s face it, I understand I am asking for a miricle. But this man will not even accept dinner for his generosity. I am calling for HELP. I ask that you pray about this and if it is God’s will that we could pull off a monumental task like this. Again I know this seems to be above and beyond what you guys do, but what a great achievment for God’s glory would this be… Thank you for your time and God bless.
