PLEASE help I was asked to the movies this Saturday by a guy I absolutely love!

But my mother and I have been arguing a lot lately and we had a big crying fight (nothing new.) I patched things up by writing a letter to her and showing her how sorry I was by returning her favors by cleaning the house and helping her out with her responsibilities. But she says I cannot go on the date. This guy does not go to school with me but I met him at a competition and we hung out and I wanted to go out with him so badly. He lives seven miles away. This may be my only chance. I do not think she will be home Saturday, but my older sister (who is in her twenties) will be. It’s all I’ve been thinking about and I do not know what to say when he calls tonight. We have already set a time and a movie in advance this week. All that’s missing is my answer. I keep thinking she;ll cave but it hasn’t happened! Please help! And please do not just say, “it is what it is…”

The boy asked ME to the movie. he asked me for my nu,ber and than to the movie this week over phone.

i think you should ON NO ACCOUNT go out on a date without telling your mom. |What is something happened?? She wouldn’t know where you were and would be really worried. Just tell her your feelings and next time don’t get into a fight right before you want to go out!
