Software help: I can’t find the manufacturer of nTracker anymore. - Help.com

I can’t find the manufacturer of nTracker anymore.

Their site www.synet.biz cannot be reached anymore. Have they gone bankrupt?
Thanks

I think so. My copy seems to have quit. I get a “Service cannot be Started” box on my desktop and now I can’t figure out how to get rid of it. Doesn’t show up in your standard search. Also a popup on desktop about an invalid e-mail address.
Hummph!

If you still have the original cd, you can activate the deinstallation file.
But I think that file can also be found in your programs directory.

I’ve looked everywhere in XP. I don’t think I’ve left a stone unturned. Mine was the 30 day trial version so I didn’t have a CD. Since the company seems to have disappeared I guess I’m outta luck with a fix. I can still find the file to download but the install won’t work and no option to run an uninstaller no matter if I’m logged in as Admin or not. It says it is already installed. That’s it. I’ll have to get it off next time I format. I have Windows 7 preordered so in October I guess. Meanwhile I’ll keep closing out the various boxes that appear upon startup. BTW, your suggestions were good ones but man, have they hidden this file well.( guess that’s why this type of software works so well ).
