guitar help: Hey my vox da 15 is messed up. - Help.com

Hey my vox da 15 is messed up.

When it is on channel 1 or 2 its fine, but when its on manual, it makes a horrible noise, it sounds like it is distorted, and its on a clean channel. It sounds as if the signal is messed up but everything else is fine. do i need to factor reset it and how would you do that.
