okay, so my girlfriend just told me today that she is taking weight loss pills.

she is not even close to being fat and is beautiful, i’m not the only one who thinks this either. i always try to compliment her, but she does not agree with anything i say. she seems to have a marred body image. what should i do? and should i be worried about the pills?

Keep a close eye on her hon, if shes not big then she shouldn’t need diet pills, this obsession with being rail thin isn’t healthy, just keep up the compliments , maybe talk to her best friend and see what she says too, girls often confide in each other. :-)

I’m a guy and i have this issue, i’ve taken weight loss pills and i freak out and like want to throw up and i get stomache aches from just looking at my stomache, it’s in my mind, all of it, I know it, I’m 150 and 5 ft ten, i’m skinny, i’m strong and I just lose it, I don’t take the pills anymore but just let her know that she can’t take action even if she feels this way, she might now be able to rid herself of the self image problem, it might never go away, but she can change what she does about it
