It will work just fine. Make sure to get the drivers first before you switch from vista to xp. Hope this helps :-)

Fantastic. I downgraded my laptop to XP pro (dell 1537 with 2.2 Ghz 4 gigs of ram) and the **** thing blazes. downgrading really shows how bad vista really is. In vista laptop was mediocre, now that it is downgraded the laptop is incredibly fast. I can play pretty hardcore video games, after downgrading, that i wasnt able to play with vista. The graphic driver is hard to find but doable. Shoot me an email if you need help with the drivers
