What is going on in Revolver

Ok, This question goes out to all the movie nuts out there. I have been watching Revolver by Guy Ritchie over the last couple days.

I understand Green, is Sam Gold, but i am having trouble putting the whole thing togeather. If anybody could give me some insight to this it would be awesome
