I am looking for the name of a computer game?

The game takes place in the future, it is about a detective that goes into a virtual world on the internet, get trapped by a computer virus and has to build a path made of different colored pads, the colors have to line up to escape the virus. There is an AI in the virtual world helping and commenting. It was made in the late 90s. It may be from a UK publisher, but I’m not certain.
