No, to think that is ludicrous. People can just not log in or make false accounts to make “silly posts” or mess around on here. The anon posting atleast lets some real people who need help come on here and make posts they wouldn’t bother posting if they had to sign up.
( replyed anonymously :D )
yeah, some people are shy, including me, and would prefer to post and reply to posts anonymously, and especially with embarrassing stuff it can be mutche easier to post and reply anonymously, but I agree that people can be silly with posts, but that is their problem.
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood with a degree in forestry while doing the macarena, juggling running electric saws on one foot while doing the hokey pokey, walking the white line for the police for a DUI test, reciting the alphabet backwards in Swahili and trying to translate A Shakespeare play to Chinese at the same time while trying to call home to see if it left the iron on so the house won’t burn to the ground?
Get the point?

thats cool
nah, i dont think it should be done away with. (like anonymous said lol) some people have things that they really dont want people to know about. also, all my posts are stupid, but i never do them anonymously, i always make sure people know im stupid ;) xx
That was me!

lol
If I did my posts anonymously, people would not know who to pick on or who to be mad at for posting anonymously. However, some people who don’t like me or who have a bone to pick with me do it anonymously because they don’t have the cojones to come out as themselves to tell me how annoying I am.
maybe they could install IP based limits on it though.
if you want to post anonymously, i agree it should be possible because of the above mentioned reasons, but just in one thread a day.
Some people post anonymously because that is their whole intention to be pests and be trolls and they think that by posting like that, they cannot be tracked down. Not true, there is a 16 year old kid in jail for two months without bail right now who used his computer “anonymously” to call bomb threats to the school where he goes. They tracked him down and now his mom is crying foul! Boo Whoo! Let him rot in jail!
why do care?
if someone wants to post annoymously leave them to it, they might be shy or some other reason
& also, the silly posts?
dont read them then.
simplez :D
I like being able to post anon.
Do you think that I would post telling everybody that:
~ my baby has Herpes simplex 7 and/or pityriosis rosea on her back if I figured that they’d know it was me? I don’t know where it came from. We don’t even get cold sores!
~my dumb brother skipping school and nearly being expelled?
~my sister married my ex?
~that I was kidnapped as a child
Heck NO. How embarrassing! People post thingsas anon bc they are afraid of what other people will think of them, or bc what they are talking about is hurting them. If they couldn’t go anon, perhaps people would know their true thoughts.

yeah, but most people on here dont really know each other. as long as you dont use your real name (i do lol) and dont have your picture as your avatar no one will ever know who you are. In accordance with the prophancy xx

My point exactly
Still though, I don’t want them to associate the things that are bothering me with with my profile. It might slant their opinion on me based upon a bad day/experience. If their opinions changed, then so would their responses.

yeah i can understand thatbut would you be willing to take advice from anon lol
advice has it’s own worth, it shouldn’t matter who it is coming from…
good people have been known to give bad advice you know, and i’ve been known to give good advice on occasion.
