Which language do I learn?

I’m planning on pursuing my masters in economics.
The schools I’m looking at are in U.K., Netherlands, U.S. and Canada.
I would also like to learn a language before I go….
Which one should I learn?
(like French, German, Spanish….)

French is the best sounding in my opinion. German is the most authoritative, Italian is a beautiful language, or you could go old skool and learn Latin.

French isn’t that hard, easier than Spanish.

I would say French, but that’s bc I love it and a lot of people speak it here. When I think of the US as a whole, it seems that Spanish is the unofficial second language. Once you learn French, Spanish comes REALLY easily, followed by Italian. Go for French.
