If you’re over 18 you can check yourself into a mental hospital, depending what the problem is.

What kind of voices you hear? What do they tell you?

yes it is, but not as easy as you might think.

If you just turn up to the local mental ward and ask to come it, they most likely will tell you to go away.

If you are smart enough to know you need help good for you, and it never hurts to TRY. worst case scenario: they send you in another direction for help. doing nothing isnt going to help, so get out there. you are very, very smart and brave to know when you need help and to seek it. cheers and best of luck.

My personal opinion is that its best to avoid public mental wards. Depends on your country, but here, patients are too often just medicated and not given the counciling and support they need.

A GP can refer you to a psychiatrist how should be able to determine what sort of help you need.
