I’ve known her since September

I was telling my best friend about something that was really bothering me. She totally went off on me. She always acts like I’m so much more immature than she is, and she always looks down on me. We have nothing in common. After our argument (this was in PE) I walked away, and she came up to me and said “Im sorry. I’m in a bad mood.”. She ALWAYS says that after she goes off on me. I am so sick of her crap!! She wants to talk to me tomorrow. I really don’t want anything to do with her anymore. What should I tell her? I don’t care if it’s mean. The only problem is, she’s in 5/6 of my classes, and we sit together in every class.

I think you are better than her for putting up with her crap. The thing to do next time she goes off on you as she starts to go off on you, just walk away! Ignore her for the rest of the day. And she wants to find out why you’re ignoring her, it’s your turn to let her have it. Tell her that it’s rude and obnoxious that she behaves like a 3 year old who think you have to put up with it and if she values your friendship at least a scintilla, she will stop doing that otherwise she can kiss your friendship goodbye!

If she has any common sense, that will be the last time she does that.

The reason why she keeps on doing that is because you have allowed it for so long without saying anything.

I had a friend who tried to do that. The first time he tried to do that, I told him in a calm manner, “you’re not my father, my mother, or my older brother. You’re someone I know here in school and it will be very easy to just dump you and not talk to you anymore. So f**k off!”

It worked like charm.
