Help with math-fraction busters

So the problem is this :
1000/2 + 2000x/2= -3000x/2

The “/”’s are the fraction lines.
I learned this recently but now I totally forget how to do it and I forgot my math binder so yeahh… its quite easy though.

times both sides by 2
1000 + 2000x = -3000x

rearrange
-1000x = -1000

times both sides by -1
1000x = 1000

divide both sides by 1000
x = 1

1000/2 + 2000x/2= -3000x/2
get rid of the 2 in deniminator by multiplying both sides by 2
2*(1000/2 + 2000x/2)= 2*(-3000x/2)

1000 + 2000x = -3000x

now get all x’s to one side
1000 + 2000x - 2000x = -3000x - 2000x

1000 = -3000x - 2000x

simplify

1000 = -5000x

divide through by -5000 to isololate x

1000/(-5000) = -5000x/(-5000)

-1/5 = x
