Tip: how to remove “Trojan Downloader” virus

the anti-virus detects and heals it, however after a while, it just pops up again,
so, what should you do????

it is incredibly simple.

after it is removed: Rclick My-Computer >> Properties >> system restore (tab) >>
check the box near “turn off system restore on all drives”
thats it.

to be on the safe side, you could scan the “system volume information” folder before you restart.
it is hidden and located on your root directory (usually C: )

restart.

go back to the system restore tab under the properties of my computer,
uncheck the “turn off system restore on all drives” box.

the point is doing this simply without the need to install anything that you didn’t previously have and run these things to scan your computer for hours…

if the virus comes back then it is due to 3 things

2> it has a second file that runs when you boot up or start your browser that duplicates the original file…
3> you have gone back to the same web page or source of the virus…

try looking up the name of the virus on google and you quickly get a list of all the filenames that you need to delete…

Best of all GET a anti virus program.

the reason this one is coming back is different though.

windows is set to restore the content of the “system volume information” folder every once in a while, in case anything evil tried to make unwanted changes in it.
so in this case, windows keeps restoring the virus, even after you removed it.

so basically what you do is to tell it to forget the restore point, and then you make a new one after you restart and the virus is gone.
