I’m in love with one of my teachers.

She is everything to me, but she’s married and I really have no chance… And maybe I’m more in love with her because she is so intelligent and talented and she’s everything I want to be someday. Nonetheless, I feel like I can’t live without her. We talk a lot and she gives me great guidence and what not… What should I do? I feel like I can’t live without her, but I can’t live with her like this! HELP!

Even after you graduate her class, keep in touch with her as close as you can. Use email and phone. I think for now all you can really do is try to be the best student friend as possible… just because i’m curious, how old are you?

Well, for anyone one in a love cituation (sorry for my poor spelling) there’s never an easy answer! First of all a relationship with your teacher is not the best road to take, and second of all she is married. My best thought in this case is to search your heart. Do you really love her, or do you just think you do. Sometimes we may think we’re in love with someone. We can’t stop thinking about them, we get a sick feeling when we’re near them, but really it only ends up being a physical attraction. I’m not saying this is your case, and I don’t think anyone can really give you a good enough answer. Just think about what I said, and I hope in some way it will have helped!

I’ve seen a lot of posts on here with people saying they’re in love with their teachers. Let’s state the obvious and be logical here–get your head out of the clouds, you’re infatuated with her, you don’t love her. She’s your *teacher*, she’s *married*…there’s nothing you can do until you wait for this silly little crush to fade.

what seems foolish and silly to you, might not be to someone else..
