I have a quick question regarding health insurance..

it is my first time ever getting health insurance on my own and I was curious of the following, is it better to get an internal medicine doctor or a family practitioner as my primary care physician (OR NEITHER??)? (I’m a 24 year old female)

An internal medicine doctor sometimes just specializes in certain things.

A family practicioner can see you and your family about just anything and he can refer you to an internal medicine doctor for more in depth care and specialization.

Get a family practicioner. Not only that, their copays (if you have to pay any) are cheaper.
