For the first few years it will take you by surprise… it still takes me by surprise and I’ve had one for 8/9 years…

Irregular periods are normal. Also- it’s not the ‘day of the month’ that’s important- it’s the days inbetween. If you were (weirdly) completely regular, I’d start the pads on about the 29th of june. (hey, that’s my sister’s birthday)

I personally will probably never be normal. I’ve had it for about 6 years now, and the only time I’ve been regular is when I was living with 5 other girls (other girl’s hormones will affect your cycle, dramatically)

Or if you’re on the pill, mine regulated after I went on the pill

Yes, Pills help too ;-) I almost went on the pill just for that. (Mine would range from 2 weeks to 3 months… later I found out the 3 month cycles were “psudo” periods just to clean out… but that is not even relevant to your question)

Don’t worry about being regular- It usually takes years for your body to fit into a cycle- and once it does, it can still be messed up by lifestyle changes.
