Hi, I am the mother of 2 beautiful boys now.
I am in a long term relationship and we both have worked hard to give our kids everything they need. My first son is from a previous relationship and I used to live in another state with a previous relationship. The guy seemed to be a really great guy and I later found out he was an alcoholic and used drugs. I did leave him and moved back with my mother. This guy caused a BOGUS charge I have in that state now and also caused me to not have the money to fly out to my court date for the charge. They gave me the charge because he smelled of marijuana however he was not impaired but our cases were separate so they did not have that evidence. He took MY money and I could not go to my court date to testify this information and was found guilty and had a warrant. While living in the state in my current relationship I was driving with my son to do laundry and had a tail light out. They found the warrant from the other state and of course had to arrest me. They called my boyfriend so he could pick up my son but the officers boss said since we weren’t married, Child Services had to get involved. So an agent showed up and ran my boyfriends background and he was unable to take him due to an assault charge from when he was 19.(He didn’t hit anyone, he threatened them) Then, I was released the next day after Child Services took him into their custody because I have no family to take him out here. They did not let me see him and told me I was being charged with Lack of Supervision for not having someone who could take him and that now I have to go back to the other state in order to get the warrant taken off and sentenced. I agreed to this and my mom flew into town and took temporary custody. In order for me to have my child back I have to go turn myself in and be sentenced. This can take 15-30 days if I am held in jail. Me and my boyfriend can only afford our house rent and car payment with both our incomes and mine would be lost if I was gone that long. SO we would lose our car and house for our children to live if I just go out there. So, I need $4,000.00 so I can have the $3,000 bail money and enough for plane tickets back and forth so that I don’t have to risk losing my son, my job or a place for us to live. I implore you to find it in your hearts to help someone who was the victim of a corrupt system and ex boyfriend. Please.
