HALP PLZ my oven is gonna eat me.

im really hungry and want to cook something but the oven is playing up and the little knob thingy that you push in to make the clicky lighter thing that lights the gas keeps clicking even when i turn the knob to off or when the gas has already caught fire.. how do make it stop clicking.. not only is the sound annoying im scared i might blow something up lol..
i have already turned it off at the power and that stops the clicky thing but when i turn the power on again it keeps going..

is it safe to use? how can i fix it?

That clicky thing is the ignition mechanism, so if the gas has already lit, then you don’t have to worry about blowing yourself up, it’ll just be really annoying. As far as fixing it goes, I don’t know what to tell you there. A quick google search seems to say that once your done using it, cut the power to the stove and let it sit overnight or a couple days, it might just stop. Other than that, you could call a repairman if you own the stove, or your landlord if you’re renting. Hope this helps!

Thanks SO much! well im glad i can still cook stuff.. hopefully it will fix itself overnight cause mum is gonna be hella mad at me for breaking the oven lol :)
