This is some thing that I wrote 9 years ago

I was speaking and discussing an idea that what if the matrix is real?
If we are just plug in the “machine”
So every thing becomes clear.
We are plugged in this machine to generate power.

And the machine have its agents between us and there are unnoticeable there mission is to create the proper conditions to rise up or lower down the power level
By wares or catastrophes or other ways

Because of our nature if we are happy or we are in relaxing situation so we are in lowest point of power generating and if we are fighting or struggling or we are in war conditions or in center of catastrophic event or living a personal tragedy or just

Working for long hours or catalysis our brain to high level (or being in stress conditions) in this kind of situations we generate the highest power level.
So if there is a happy family so the power level of this family is low so the father gets ill suddenly and lose his job so all family members start to work for 12 hour in the day (for example 6 without the father) and as a result the family power level rise up. in the same way if the machine need some more kilowatts so it create a war and it gets what it need of
Power.
That why we always fight or we always have short moments (or time) of happiness
And the governments in most of the world knows this so they fight to make there (most)people in low power generating conditions and let other counters in high power generating conditions

So every thing that lowers the power generating level becomes illegal and unacceptable for example cocaine.

Thanks for the invite, I had already read it, and wasn’t that impressed the first time. This idea has been questioned by philosophers for years and in better ways. Good first try, but try refining your ideas more and work on re-structuring your sentences.

The brain in a vat scenario is something I’ve pondered before, and found it seemingly true. Everything we see hear and touch are only stimuli to our brains, which are structured as electrical signals that are interpreted by our brains, which over time, develops a “brain language” and these signals become symbols. Thus in truth, when you look at your hand, you see a symbolic hand but not a true hand, which is comprised of molecules, not photons.

I have read a similar story to the post, in that it is absurd and falsifiable, but stimulating nonetheless.

The world that we know is constituted not of anything tangible, but of belief systems. So in the beginning gods were more powerful and possibly corporeal, but relied upon belief to maintain their power. Thus science steadily growing explains why religions have taken a fall.

So for you to manipulate reality all you need to do is believe it’s true. But the effect is quantitative, according to the author. If say you wanted to get a parking spot, you’d need to harbor the belief that there will be one when you arrive for say, half an hour.

(All that’s about as real as the “air diet”, you can try it but don’t rely on it.)
