Need some advice im upset and dont know what to do,

Well i split with my 4 year partner over 4 moths ago now, as he wanted to get back with his ex of 30 years. Which hurt and ive recently got over and tryed to move on as i still love him however, ive moved back in with my parents since we split untill i can get sorted but they live 2 roads away from my ex which means i am always seeing her go over and them too together which also hurts. We talk to eachother most days over the msn messenger and he says how his ex ( the women who he is now back with of 30yrs) has not changed and he doesnt like her but just loves her. He tells me how he wants to be with me and if he won the lottery he would be with me. Im getting mixed signals and i am finding it hard as he is with her but saying he loves me. I dont know what to do my new partner of a few months is perfect but i really cant get over my ex and what he is saying to me doesnt help. what should i do ? x
