I used to have the sims 2 expansion pack ‘open for business’, I then installed two more expansion packs.

A few months ago my computer broke down so I had to have a few things removed; the sims was one of them. I re-installed the other two but couldn’t find ‘open for business’ so didn’t install it. Now a message comes up at the start up screen saying ‘ofb’ has been uninstalled, I click ok and can play on the game. However when I save the game and come back to it the game is not actually saved. Any help please?

Hmm well im not sure but i’ve had quite a few dealings with the sims 2. what are the other two expansion packs?

sims 2 h&m fashion and IKEA home stuff.

well i don’t really know - i had a similar problem once but that was because i uninstalled an expansion pack family stuff (hard drive was getting full) then when i replayed the game glitched when i tried to load a few games. I presumed it was the ones that i’d used stuff from that expansion pack. But, i’ve never had a problem with saving. It could be with something to to do with order of expansions packs, but you re-installed the sims 2 so i guess that’s different there might still be a few files of open for business still on your computer maybe thats causing it to mess up, but i dunno for sure.
