And to the person who posted this, me too. I have 3 exams coming up in the next two days and my room is a state and I just can’t bring myself to revise, tidy, or even do anything. I’ve been putting it off all week by saying “oh there’s something on tv I really wanted to watch”, “oh I’ll just quickly do this on the computer” until it gets too late and I tell myself I’ll do it tomorrow. I have no self motivation.

Don’t have any advice, just know how you feel.

I have hobbies, friends and a life beyond the computer. Which I’m sure littlenick you does too, but this site seems to dominate his life quite a bit from what I’ve seen since I’ve been on here. I only come on this website when I remember it exists which is about twice every month. I just went on his profile and he did a whole post with the jist of “I’m so sorry if I offend people, some people just don’t get my quirky sense of humor, I’ll stop posting funny comments now, in fact I might just leave the site”

People totally fell for it, telling him that those people are just ignorant, they don’t get him. There were comments about how they love how he’s so humble, what a lovely person, people should lighten up because he’s ‘hilarious’ and he can’t leave because they all love him.

It’s not the website for that. He should go get a blog or something.

I didn’t start the debate. I am being attacked and I am just defending myself.

I have a test tommorow on a month long unit I didnt take notes for, have to read an entire book, do an entire seminars worth of notes, write an essay (overdue), finish 50 defintions (overdue), and a package of worksheets ive also had a month to do. Trust me when I say I KNOW lazy.

TIme to turn off your computer, all distractions, and lock yourself in your room till you finish your work.

1. It is entertaining.

2. You don’t have to come on this site often, or for very long to see exactly what littlenick’s intentions are. He replies to almost every post in existence.

3. Yeah, this post was about something totally different and he’s now invited all his little fans to come and stick up for him, in what wasn’t really supposed to be an argument, just an observation that he couldn’t handle.

So let’s end this ridiculousness. Now. Comment me on my shoutbox if you feel the need to fight littlenick’s battles for him or whatever.

I agree with Snar, turn off your computer or exit from this site so you can have some work done you need to do. When we are overwhelmed with due dated work, is when we seem to find all kinds of reasons not to do that. Just start one step at a time and do as much as you can. Tomorrow is another day. Littlenick, you are still my friend.

what is causing you to be lazy? you have to look at yourself and what is causing you to avoid working.

The hardest thing is always to start something after you start it itl get easier to keep going

Dear procrastinator: Welcome to the club. Its very hard to get motivated sometimes, especially with all the distractions around you. There is several things you can do about it:
1) Tell someone about it, and ask them to hold you accountable. Whatever your procrastinating on, ask them to check up and make sure your following through with it.

2) Minimize distractions by taking away computer, video games, books, or anything that is keeping you distracted and in the same old groove of procrastination.

3) Keep in mind that your dying. Everyone is dying. Right now, you might be thinking that you have plenty of time, but one day your gonna wake up, realize your eighty, and that dream of yours? You never got around to fulfilling it. Try to keep that in mind, and next time you feel bored and want to just veg on the computer. Put your time to some good use. Its what I try to do :)
