Weight help: frustrated! - Help.com

frustrated!

ive been working my butt off at the gym for the past 4 weeks, and eating really well. im following a diet plan
but it doesnt seem to be working.
and if it is, its happening really slowly!
i wanna lose 30 pounds.
i did it before when i was 17 but thats when i was anorexic and did soccer conditioning 5 hours a day in the hot summer.
im 20 now and went through a miscarriage, so my bodys changed a little bit.
i just wanna get rid of it but it seems like nothing is working and i really dont want to starve myself again….

It’s only been four weeks. It’s going to take more time than that. Stick with it for a while. You will begin to gradually see the changes. Don’t give up yet.

Stick with it. Picture the end results in your mind and keep on striving for that goal. Don’t give up!

Hey :)

I think your doing a fab job!
4 weeks! I mean well done!
Any body will tell you that losing weight is hard and that most people give up around 1 month because they don’t see any change, people expect instant results but the thing is your doing it totally the right way, doing it the right way means you lose weight slowly but it stays off and is easier to maintain which is what you want after all the hard work. Doing crash diets is all well and good but I can tell you for a fact that the weight youe lose fast doubles in weight that you put back on when you give up.
Another factor that you may wish to know is that you are doing excercise as well as eating better, muscle weighs more than fat so what you are doing at the moment is converting fat into muscle, you may notice that now things you were out of breath doing before you find easier.
Try a protine diet will working out, that helps you burn the fat quicker but always play it safe, drink lots of water, dehydration is your bodies worst enemy, you don’t have to feel thristy to be dehydrated you know so drink plenty of water whenever you can :)
And remember 4 weeks is really good, you may not be getting instant results but with this way it starts of slow but soon picks up pace, don’t give up just yet.
