Personally, if it is such a free world that the boy could shoot the teacher, I would torture the boy to within an inch of death in response.

i think teachers should be controlled much more
they should be videotaped or something
dont get me wrong - there are really great teachers but there are also really bad ones
and teachers are always alone with the students - they can do alot of damage

its absolutely inacceptable to strangle a student
i think he should be suspended and in prison..
and of course you cant walk around shooting people..
but since it was a kid and what he did was a reaction to the way the teacher was treating him you cant only blame the kid..

I think if the teacher actually tried to strangle two kids, then obviously he should be severely punished. And I think the kid who shot him should be punished to the same level. For a revenge, that is way to strong a thing to do.

But to be honest, I can almost understand where the teacher was coming from. I don’t condone strangling kids obviously, but I think there is a sever lack of respect in schools now and I think physical punishment should be looked into as a way of disciplining the worst kids when clearly logical reasoning doesn’t work. Either that or there shoudl be mechanisms for completely removing them from that situation permanently.

And with some of the kids who do things like this, especially if unprovoked (such as a he got told off by a teacher for not doing homework), I don’t think I’d have any problem at all in punishing them for it.

So no, I not really joking.

kids dont do these things randomly- that boy probably had a lot of other problems
and he needs help -otherwise he might eventually be a severe threat to society..

but physical abuse is usually a reason why people become like that and obviously the cause is not a good remedy to treat the misbehaviour..

however *ucked up the children might be, the teacher is an adult and he has to carry responsibility
