I Love Him..But

We have been together for about a year, we moved in together in January into an apartment to get closer to university in summer school, everything seemed perfect! We were happy as ever, straight out of high school, both got scholarships for uni; mine in Law, his in Medicine. Over the past few weeks however, he wanted to move back home with his parents, he said he needed space… I got really emotional everytime he brought it up, the idea of living alone meant for me that he didnt care about me… Anyway, last week he said it was over, and that i drive him crazy… we ended up going on a break, hes moved out but has still been coming over every 2nd day since.. he told me he didnt ‘love me right now’… Im trying to give him space and time, but what can I do? is this worth waiting around for? HELP! Does he really not love me anymore?

These are the actions of somebody who clearly doesnt love you unfortunately. Dump him. Let him go and tell him not to come back. Whats even worse is that he is filling you with false promise by saying he doesnt love you ‘right now’. He is clearly using you and doesnt care about your feelings.
So to answer your question, no. He is not worth waiting around for and you are better than that, you deserve somebody who truly loves you.

i dont think that those are the actions of someone who doesnt love you i just think he is confused on what he wants right now. im in the same situation right now with my ex girlfriend and ya it hurts a lot. some days im cool and not really stressing about it and some days i get reminded of her by the littlest things. if you guys really liked or love eachother then everything will be ok. trust me. true love always finds its way back. no matter what the situation. he probably just doesnt know what to think right now. if i were you i would tell him that you guys were right to break up bc things were getting different between you two and space will defiantly help. tell him that you have hopes for getting back together but if it doesnt work out then you will be ok with it. make it seem like you care but not to much. i know that sounds stupid but trust me it works. also tell him that you guys should probably not talk to eachother for a little while so you both can clear your heads. now that is gunna be hard but if you really love this person then trust me it will help. he will miss you and realize what he lost. thats the main factor right there. making him miss you. how can he miss you when your still always right there. hang in there ok? be strong. i of all people now how bad it hurts to hang on and wonder but it will be worth it. i hope this helps.

Thanks, it does, a glimmer of hope (”,)
Yea, i think we definately need space.. he acts like we still go out, still calls me’huni’, has’nt told anyone about it, still helps me pay my rent..

Maybe i should just stop texting him? Slow down a bit? I don’t think he is ready to break up completely…

ya dont even text text him. tell him that you will talk to him in a few weeks and you just need to clear your head. make sure you let him know that you care and that your not doing it just as an excuse to move on.

love isnt always like in the movies. things arent always perfect. people make mistakes and therefor those mistakes sometimes cause pain. do what your heart feels is right.

its the small tickle. :)
the pain i think is fear of never seeing him again. we’re working on it though. Hes been over the last few days, made me dinner, hugs me, kisses me, tells me he misses me… im not going to break up with him.. i dont think either of us are quite ready for that.

HI,

I know this sounds painful - but he did you a favor. Its better now than later. If you can have it in your heart to see that he is hurting too - its not easy to walk away just as it is not easy to be rejected. But he made a brave decision for himself and for you. Also, if you are too needy for him it will just drive him further. You are young and have still so much self-learning to do. So, don’t hook up to one yet. Find yourself first - go on an adventure. You have so much time to settle down with that one who is right for you and you for him. Believe me - one day you will have to stay with just one person - you just want to make sure it is the right one - cause its a long journey together. Lots of love— Rohani
