Lost job…

At the beginning of the summer I had it settled with my new neighbor that I would mow his lawn once a week and he’d pay me. I mowed it for a month then one day I go to mow it and it’s already done! Apparently my neighbor decided to buy his own lawn mower and just not tell me! I’m really angry because I was planning on this being my source of income this summer. He still hasn’t come to talk to me yet, but I’m not sure what to say to him once he does…

Unfortunately, this is the exact reasons why people want you to sign contracts. Without one, you can’t really do much legally.
