Mild chest pain? - Help.com

Mild chest pain?

I’m a little concerned. The last few days I’ve been experiencing a little discomfort in my chest, like a dull throb near my heart. I’m not having trouble breathing, and it isn’t actually painful, but it’s a little worrying. I’m a smoker, and I’m trying to quit, so I’ve cut down a lot. But even moreso since the issue. It’s getting to the point where it gives my a mild panic attack or anxiety if i leave the house, and before I go to sleep.

I don’t have any other symptoms besides it, but should I be worried? Or could it just be something mild that will go away on it’s own? It’s really starting to irritate me because I’ve had to cancel several important things due to the fact I’m worried to leave the house in case it makes it worse.

Maybe that is already the effect of smoking. The good thing you will do is to consult a physician and ask any advice with regards on your health condition. Don’t hesitate to do that or else your condition will become worst.
