The day started on a sour note, it is Friday, I have no job, no money, nowhere to go, nothing to do.
I spent all morning in bed, it took me a few hours just to turn on the TV. I was a successful person and in three short months I lost my job, the person I loved, and all hope. I tried to commit suicide and failed, now I don’t feel any better but I tried to call these help lines and I don’t know if it is just the fact someone is trying to keep my head under water, but I felt more depressed afterward. I have stopped taking my anti-depressants, I just can’t afford to buy them, I emptied every bottle of alcohol in the house. Now there is nothing left, I think I will be homeless very soon, I am happy it is summer, I will not be cold for a few months.
I tried to find the silver lining, but this time there is none, there is no hope, and there is no reason to actually get out of bed.
Please ignore I just needed to get it off my chest, I haven’t decided what I am going to do, but is a slow painful life better than a quick ending.

Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
Move. If you haven’t already, take what you have and just go some place else. can you sell your house/apartment? any way to get any money?
Try taking some classes, or try making your house brighter by painting it or some how. It may seem weird but give it a try. That way in the morning you won’t seem that depressed !
Do you have any family to turn to? Or any friends? there are simple jobs like kitchen hand positions that you can get pretty easily. there is a fun lifestyle in hospitality. Lots of people just living for the moment which is really all we have. Take stock of your life and then decide what you want to do with your new begining. Hope is never lost, God is very real and those who seek him, find him. Ultimately anything you do for a living here is pretty worthless and the decidence afforded to the well off just serves to ruin what is truly valueable to a man so be happy to say goodbye to alot of it. Make friends, real ones that don’t require money and if you have any get back in touch with family they arn’t perfect but they will always love you. You are in my prayers and if you wanna talk about it I’m here on help.com. God Bless you.
If you have any sort of money, and if your life is that terrible, go to Europe. Just bike through the different countries and take odd jobs here and there. sounds a bit drastic, but if i were you, I’d do that. So many things to see, so many people to meet, it might rekindle your life.
omg, I’m not talking for this person but, seriously…..Stop bringing the god aspect into every conversation. why would god be so cruel to this person…..
he wasn’t.
men were.
Man i wanna get you high tonite, today is friday, you aint got no job & u aint got sh1t to do
Look, this person needs real help & advice, can we get down to doing that & can the god botherer go off somewhere else if he’s not going to contribute anything usefull!
look i just hate it when people say “god will see you through” or something like that. it doesnt help, and of course neither did my last two posts. i already gave him/her advice.

If god was going to see anonymous through he would of done. We need something more constructive than prayer
Anon you should get yourself to your doctor & tell them how your feeling, you would benifit from antidepressants & counceling. I dont know what country your in but in some if your unemployed you can get free prescriptions for your medication

Well the biggest problem is family, if it were that easy I would have done it a while ago. I have a few friends but I am not sure what the reaction will be, I have taken the time to read your reply and I want to thank you, I just needed to get it out there, I know it will not always be this way and it should get better. I just think that the biggest problem is the three strikes, love, job and money all at once is very hard to take.

The problem is they think you can survive on 20% of what you made when you were working, and they are not worried about mental health, there are more important things. Thanks for your reply.
Free prescriptions are for any medication, if your eligable get them. Doctors are worried about mental health, hospitals have sections exclusively for that purpose, they will listen & act on it if you tell them
