Why are you depressed?

Try some of these things(even if some seem unrelated, they actually are):

*get some sun(just dont burn)

*try and exercise and eat healthier

*hang out with friends

*talk about your problems to friends and family and if those arent available then even online people are alright

*get some more friends

*try and think positively even if it means just saying things to yourself that are positive you dont belive.

*watch a lot of comedies

*listen to lots of music

*get professional help from a doctor or therapist if that doesnt fix it

*dont give up

Depression is a difficult disease to cope with especially at your age. Medically, a recent study showed that Zoloft (Sertraline) is the most effective antidepressant, just watch out for the side effects, you may want to kill yourself the first week or so but these feelings will pass. Of course nothing beats a good support system of family and friends. Cheer up, happiness is a choice, and for people with this disease the choice has to be enforced more proactively. But I think you can do it.

Thanks I Have Tried Most Of Those Things, I Have Therapy And Help From Doctors. I Am On Fluoxetine Which Is An Antidepressant. I try And Get Excercise And I Do Open Up To My Family More Than I Used Too. This All Helps And I Am Getting Better I Think Its Just That Last Push Of Getting Back Into A Normal Routine Of Life Again Which Is A Little Step For Some But A Mountain To Climb For Me.

You have to work out why you are like this! point out the good points in your life. Maybe start something new like a hobby or join a club.
Think positive…..
