Need help with Star Trek story…

So, I’m writing a Star Trek: TNG story and I’ve kind of hit a wall. It’s about Tasha, a shapeshifter on the Enterprise. I don’t want to go into detail, but they’re basically going to be attacked by Romulans, and Tasha is the only one who can save them. I just can’t work out the details of what should happen and how, exactly, she should save them. Any ideas?

well, she will shape shift into a romulan of course and then take down her “fellow” romulans one by one. the enterprise will have gained back strength by them and be killing those romulans left and right, and then of course, the romulans will figure out that tasha is not a real romulan but a shape shifter, and attempt to kill her, BUT she is saved just in time and the enterprise blows up the dumb romulans.
