Does some form of karma really exist?

The reason I ask is because my ex girlfriend left me for another guy without saying a word. She just cut me off without any explanation. We work at the same place and all I can do is try to move on and hide my pain. She ignores me and acts if I’m the bad guy. I just wonder if what comes around goes around because she is just so smug about it. I don’t wish her any ill will but she sure doesn’t have a clue how painful this is.

I think so, but not necessarily in the usual sense.

I think good things happen to people who appreciate being alive. And I believe that if you feel guilty about something, you will subconsciously choose to fail.

Karma is like god, it exists if you think it exists. We make our own karma, when you do something bad, you watch your back more, but in doing that you forget to watch your front, and so on.

Karma does exist and it is true- as you sow so shall you reep. the best part is you do not know when you will reap it but it is bound to come. I had some great experiences in the past. My sister in law used to trouble me a lot and I would ask God why things are like this. I did not get an answer then but after 2.5 years I saw my SIL paying the price for what she had done.

Karma does exist you gotta believe it thats all

Sorry to hear about your problem.:(

I think karma is a fairly instant thing. I mean, in order for her to behave like that, she can’t be a very happy person inside. You’re going through a lot of pain in the short term, but you’ll get over it and eventually it won’t matter to you anymore, but she’s going to go on being a banal and miserable creep. I promise you, in the end, she suffers the most.

Yeah it does exist, your angry now which is understandable but try to pick back up the pieces of your life and move on. I know easier said than done. I kinda have the same problem at the mo. my “ex” wont leave me alone, i dont want to talk to him because He never had anything nice to say before so i can just imagine what he has to say now. He probably thinks im being smug too but im not…I just dont know how to handle it. I dont trust him at all and he never gave me a reason to trust him

perhaps your ex girlfriend feels the same way as you. i believe that karma is like a mirror: it reflects you. your actions, your thoughts, your abilities.

~Yes Karma does exist. I did something nasty to this guy and I remember my beloved mother saying that the exact same thing would happen to me. Well she was right. Guess what, five years later the exact same thing happened to me. It made me realize the pain I caused this guy. I woke up one morning, crying like a baby muttering to myself that I got what I justly deserved and how I would give anything to aplogize to him(didn’t know how to get in contact with him). Well low and behold he called me at work that morning. I was shocked. I was given a beautiful opportunity to apologize to him. In my opinion karma exists(come on five years later he calls out of the blue after I was hoping for a chance to say sorry). I try to never be mean or do bad things to others, well because you know the saying “karma is *****”, and believe me it will come back to bite you in the rear one day. If your only doing good deeds(i.e. charity),without true sincerity, and only for hoping something good will hapeen to you because of it, then it will never happen. It has to truly come from your heart, and not what you’ll get out it.~

No karma doesn’t exist I am sorry. Idealistically we all want to beleive there is a great supernatural force that will ensure justice and make things right but thatis the human mind comforting itself. There is no actual evidence that karma exists and if actions happen to you in response to things you done than there is no free will all fate, and all actions occur to reward or punish other actions. The beleif that a guy or girl will be treated like crap for treating you like crap says that the only reason why your ex is treated like crap by a new lover is not because that new lover wanted to due to their own free will or personality, but was forced by karma to punish your ex for doing wrong. Or maybe your ex left you because karma was punishing you, therefore if karma made her do this wrong thing to punish you, did she do anything wrong if karma after all made her do it? or the new guy if he does the same to her. So by the logic of karma none of us then have a free will and things happen on the basis of supernatural justice, not physics as in a car accident or free will or nature or anything. If karma did exist the world would actually be a more miserable place despite it’s appeal with justice for those who do good. Life that is out of our control and we are pawns on a chessboard played by karma who moves us and controls all actions on earth to reward or punish behavior. And afterall the idea of living in fear to do good things because you will be punished by a supernatural bully never sat right with me, people should do the right thng out of morals nt fear of karma. Sorry but karma logcally and physically cannot and does not make sense but is synthisized in our minds by correlating and connecting unrelated situations with one another and saying one happened as a result of the other. It’s a foolish idea.
