How do you get help with your mortgage payment?

Almost everyone I talked to could help with rent but not mortgage.

I am two months behind in my mortgage payment and the mortgage company keeps sending me threatening letters. I have until June 30 to pay the whole thing. I have tried lots and lots of places and most of them say they only help with rent, not mortgages. What can I do?

Emergency mortgage help generally is not available in the US. As you’ve discovered, that’s reserved for emergency rental assistance.

I think you need to visit a credit counselor as soon as possible. It sounds as if you need serious help with revamping your financial situation. These experts can review your finances and maybe help you avoid foreclosure by working on a new repayment schedule with your mortgage company. Do not delay a single extra day!
