Yeah, I understand copyright laws, but the material (which isn’t hosted yet) isn’t under copyright. This is just some ameature video that I need samples of for a presentation that I am working on. I am quite familiar with copyright laws and am not trying to violate any. I was just wondering if anyone knew of some clean and legitimate scraping software that could capture it with decent resolution. But if nobody feels comfortable giving any of this info out on here, that’s cool. I can always hit up the library or spend a little time on google later. I was just trying to save myself a little leg work. Ya know what I mean?

Depending on the method and encapsulation file it could be difficult, else, just copy the video file from your temporary internet files folder. If its not copyrighted there is a good chance that its downloaded and buffered to your Temp internet files folder.

If you post a link I can check it out and maybe give you a direct link for downloading…

Yeah, I just copped out and had him throw it up on an FTP server that I could access. I still need to rip it in to a format that I can do something with. I don’t have much in the way of editing software but I’ll work it out. I’ve got plenty of time. Thanks for the help though, and your name’s a trip.
