treat her normally,
be considerate of her disability, but otherwise don’t pay unnecessary attention to that.

find an alternative, like a bus, for now.

if you really have to drive her in a car,
then both of you make sure she has the fastest way of getting out of it.
practice it a bit.

on another case, if someone else drives, just hug her and shut her eyes all the way.
might as well help too.

Today we had to go get her new keys for the house and on the way out to the car she stopped mid stride, and started to shake and cry and said “it isnt going to burn is it?” It was all I could do to wrap my arms around her and tell her that it wasnt and that I wasnt going to let anything happen to her or anything hurt her. I held her hand the whole way, it was the only way she would remain calm…

Im scared for her, but I have to be strong for her.

you acted right.
do this forever if you must,
then it might pass eventually, or it might not.
you cannot know for sure.

talking to her could also help.
if you have the opportunity.
like, if she is forced to drive when you are not around,
contact her on her mobile, and talk to her all the way.

what are you to her, by the way?
