who ever u are closer to, u shud tel them first, jus say some boy asked me outm what shud i do, or if u already said yes or no, ur parnets will prbably jus say its part of growing up :)

you’d think so… but my parents actually made me show them how to get to a place where my friends will be having a beach party. as in kool-aid tanning oil and watermelon party, not wild fire beer typico teenage party. beleive me, they’d want to know everything down to the color of his socks. they’r odd people, my folks…

my parents arn’t that wierd, but they would be nosey…

lol mine are really carefree. i could go up to them and say ‘pick a cerfue’ and they would say something like ‘8-9pm’ and i’d just leave XD and for a 15 year old 9pm is a little late i think XD, they dont even care who i go out with

jealouse!! so what do i do?

my parents even like him… whats wrong with me?? even worse, im nervouse to tell my best friend cuz she thinks he’s a little wierd… i would never let that impact a relationship, but i’m still nervouse, im so spineless!!!!

talk about him a bit, say something like (this is just an example) John is really funny the other day he said tht his brother made a squirrel out of a hamster!. THATS JUST AN EXAMPLE! but then maybe say that your going out with him to the cinema. make sure you know your cerfue and keep your phone on (even on silent) and say if your worried about me phone me.

but the date isnt set, it was a, ’so… maybe sometime…?’ rather than a ‘would you like to …. this friday?’ soim not sure it would work…

get the date b4 u say anything then. and when u ask 4 a date. make it really casual, talk about places to go then ask if he wants to go, set a date. get his numba ;) then tell ur parents

so its been set, right after a party at a friends house, everyones there, him too, and we’ll probably go right after… so should i just mention it before i go? or tell the parents after…….. they dont know when the part ends, nobody really does.

how old are you? if your under 15 i suggest telling them in advance, like a couple of days, because if you don’t they will think your irresponsible, if its a late night party, you need your parents okay to go anyway. and keep you phone on.

so all that aside, should i like, wait or something?

Personally, I would just tell them I’m going out for a bit with a friend, tell them that right now, it isn’t a big deal. If you two go out on more dates, or if it evolves into a relationship, then would be the time to really talk to your parents about what it means that you two are going out, explain how you feel and how happy you are. Make sure you take their feelings into consideration, and remind them how reponsable you are.
