My husband and I just bought our first house last year.

Like others, our credit isn’t real good and we have loans and credit cards that are high interest. We are trying to consilidate and install A/C & a heat pump to lower our bills. We are looking for an unsecured loan that doesn’t rely on equity in our house. Does any one know a federal loan/grant or a private lender willing to take a chance on a hard working couple?

I don’t think you’ll find the answer here. You may want to try the government to see if they have grants and such. I think they do.
