Do you mean convert a movie for your ipod? You can use CloneDVD Mobile for that (you might also need AnyDVD).

thank you for your help and advice to my post ^_^ and in return unless jcd, has helped you :P

the format in which videos go onto ipod, is MPEG4 i believe. thats why although you can copy videos and dvds onto your computer. you cant upload them. because the format of the ipod, is MPEG4 format.

there are converters you can buy. just type it into google, and an endless amount of results will come up. and you can decide what to look for through there. i personally have never bought one, so i wouldnt know. but i tried a free trial thing, that converted my films into MPEG4 format, and went onto my ipod perfectly. the only thing with the trial ones, is they have trial written across the middle of them lol…so they show you the quality, but you cant get around it, unless you buy the actual software…

anyway i hope that helps. and im sure JCD already gave you your answer to this question ^_^

but once again, thanks for your input on my friend. i hope she pulls herself out of this. and decides to let me help her…

Thanks Doublegin, I have just ran a search and will give one of the trials a go.

Again, best of luck with your friend and look after yourself in amongst it all.

http://www.videohelp.com

^ That site has tutorials on video conversion to different formats, and also links to the software that can do it (both for pay and for free).
