You can’t ‘open’ it. Well, you technically might be able to, but it’s definitely, definitely not optimal. An .iso is a disk image, or rather a virtual ‘image’ of a disk that can be emulated. A .uif is another type of disk-image, HOWEVER, it’s a disk image created by MagicISO, which requires purchase to be used, and the file extension .uif isn’t usually supported by most disk emulators. What you want is to convert the .uif to a more common format, such as .iso or .mdf.

Scroll down to UIF2ISO 0.1.7c and download it, I’ve used this guy’s stuff before, it works and it’s good. :]

Try Magic ISO (http://www.magiciso.com/).

Handles uif and is a free download. :)

To clarify, MagicISO’s program is a free limited TRIAL, and I have my doubts that converting from its specialized format is handled in the trial. Though I may be wrong.

I’m fairly sure that I’ve used the free trial to burn to / open from uif images.

I used the trial once, I remember it only allowing me to create an image of like 10MB or something. All in all, I was slightly offput. Just stating a surefire method. =s

Fair enough, I bow to your superior knowledge. I only really bother with ISO anyway, tbh. :)
