If you feel happy without following any faith, then you should just be happy. If religion gives you no benefit, then there’s little point to following one. Religion is not a requirement for life. It’s a choice and it’s okay if you don’t feel the desire to go down that path. To cynically going through the motions of following a religion you don’t have to heart for is worse than pointless.

I’m with C.M Theisen, do what makes you happy. Don’t go through with something you’re not sure of or not ready and willing for.

Do what makes you happy believe in what you feel is right for you. People can’t make you believe in something you don’t. It has to come from your heart.

i think that it’s fine, you don’t have to believe in any faith. i’m buddhist and its a really laid back religion, so i really dont find it too hard because all you do is try to find happiness…. and i think that just relates to life. but if you are happy without believing in anything, thats cool.

Ok here’s what I think. Religion isn’t about you it’s about the power that made you and what that power had planned for you. That doesn’t necessarily mean you need to be a part of a “faith” because faith is your own. Someone please tell me how one can have “faith” in something they don’t believe. I call myself a Christian because I believe in the gospel narrative of Jesus but I cannot find a Christian faith that I could call myself a part of.

I know a lot of ‘religious’ people, and some of them are the worst most racist, sexist [censored] is the world. Being a part of a religion does not make you a better person, sometimes it makes you a worse person. When you are a part of a group of people, you tend to want to agree with the things that the group thinks, says, and does. It is human nature to follow a leader. Organized religions are a way of controlling people. Being a good person has nothing to do with church.

religion, as you are using it, is searching for the truth. because there is truth. finding it, believing it–that’s hard. but if it is true, it’s there, and it’s real, and you can find it. something that really helped me about truth is at mypreachingpen.com. try it, and i hope it helps!

It depends on the religion. Some are focused only on you, whereas others are focused mainly on others. Very few are focused on devolving a personal relationship with a higher power instead of using it for one thing or another. Having a friend is no religion, just a part of life.

I agree with C.M Theissen and Queen Elizabeth, so u sould do what u think makes u happz, and if there are some individuals, they want to make u believe in something, don’t listen to them. It’s your life and it’s on u what u make with it, it’s your decision…

Oh, and to myself, I believe in eternal love. The eternal love of God, the love of other people, the love of a mother, love between a man and woman…Just in love
