I recently tried to hook up a wireless router to my computer.

Its a linksys and it just won’t work. It (used) will broadcast but i cannot get the **** thing to connect. All the devices I try to use on it all say a dns error.

When i go to look at the setting dns ip etc there is no ip or gateway mask i think?

It just doesn’t work in general. I need help!

Disconnect the router ( take a ink pen and reset it, there is a space in the back)
Unplug the modem
Power down the computer
Wait about 10 minutes
Plug in modem
Allow to recycle
When lights are lit, plug in the router
Turn on the computer

Let me know if you are in business
