Parent help: My kitten is sick, but my parents refuse to see a vet. - Help.com

My kitten is sick, but my parents refuse to see a vet.

They say a cat fever, no big deal. She hasn’t been eating, or drinking, her temperature is higher than our other kittens. They say the vet will do nothing. What can I do?!

Google all the symptoms and if there is a website saying that all these things are a sign of something serious then show your parents the website and they might think about taking your kitten to the vet. Hope she gets better soon.

it sounds like your parents just don’t want to pay the bill and would rather it die. how sad. if it’s a kitten it could be a number of problems. worms, parasites, internal issues. most times there will be a few natural deaths in a litter of kittens. its just part of nature. i’m sorry your parents won’t help you, there really isn’t much you can do to be honest :/ unless you can somehow force your parents to help it.

If either of your parents are having an affair and you know about it, time to cash in a favor. >_>

Seriously though. A fever is pretty much the most broad symptom possible, and all it means is that your cat is fighting off SOMETHING… You can’t really tell what at all or how to cure it without a vet. All you can do is take as best care of your kitten as possible and hope for the best, if you can’t get it professional help. =/
