Ok, So how do i make my ex-husband leave me alone.

We have been divorced for almost 5 years and now he is being a total *******. We have 2 kids together and i hate that they are always in the middle of this. I don’t want them to see us fight. He trys to put me down by saying untrue things. He said that i am miserable and I just want to make him miserable. When in reality i know he hates his life cause now he has 2 other kids with his girlfriend. Has no job, is living off his mom, and his girlfriend has no job either. So who is the miserable one. I guess my question is Why can’t he just leave me alone and move on with his life? He seems to focus more on what i am doing with my life. Will he ever just go away or will he always be a thorn in my side.

But he just makes me so mad. I just want to yell and choke him LOL! but i know you are right, i shouldn’t let him get to me. I guess am just more frustrated at the fact that he will NEVER go away.

Both of you will be connected until your kids grow up, marry and go off on their own. Your kids should see him for what he is and will grow up resenting him, but that is what he is sowing in them. Every dog has its day and your husband’s day will come sooner or later. You will see.

My ex-husband and I were like you and your ex until I decided I was really not interested in communicating with him any longer. At that point, I just stopped talking with him about any subject that did not relate to our children. Once the children were grown, my contact with him came to an end, except for rare family celebrations, like weddings and graduations.

Yes, but you don’t have to deal with him the way you are now. Just cut the communication, unless it directly concerns visitation or other important child-related matters. It sounds like he does not have much to do and amuses himself by getting a rise out of you. End the drama by not responding.
