I got a wedding invite from a college friend with no reception card or mention of a reception to follow, but there was an RSVP card.

Am I invited to the reception or just the ceremony? I am pretty sure the reception is at the same location as the ceremony and the invite mentions “black tie optional” Thoughts? I am confused.

As your friend what the invite means. That one’s hard to figure out, but if I had to do it all over again, believe it or not the one thing I would do differently is go to more friends’ weddings.
