Can I get a yellowed dress white again?

My wife got thrown into the ocean with a white dress that she loved. It’s now discolored and yellowish. Is there anyway to get it back to it’s bright white glory? Bleach will be my last resort, because the dress has different fabrics in it.

Have you tried the wash powder called vanish oxy?
You put it in with your normal washing powder and it makes whites stay white and also helps remove discoloured whites, you may need to wash it several times with it.
If that fails then put milton ( a baby sterilizing liquid) into a spray bottle with some water and spray the affected areas and then wash.
Milton works similar to bleas but itsn’t as harsh.

I was thinking of trying an oxy product. Would I just put it in the wash, or would I soak it before hand?

You can do either depending on the degree of the stain, soaking it would probably give it a better chance of going white again, read the instructions first and the care label.
Also when you have soaked it use th stuff in the wash a couple of times too.
