Just a game

You meant everything to me, and you let me believe that I meant everything to you. After two years I find out that I was led on. I told you everything, yet you still betrayed me. Why did it take you so long to say that you didn’t feel the same about me. Why did you let me feel like this was it, that I had finally met my match. You kissed me back every single time, yet now you say that you didn’t feel anything. You used me.

I don’t understand why I loved you so. I don’t know why I gave you my heart. I’m so angry with myself for being so ignorant to the signs in front of me. I’m sick of being the one who has to take the fall. How is it that in the end I’m not even worthy of the truth.

It’s hard to break up with someone you know is deeply in love with you… maybe they loved you and fell out of love and did the best they could.

I don’t know. It will forever be a mystery to me what really happened. I just feel down.
