Ok well i posted something i guess it didn’t go through, but anyway i have this question about Canada & U.S.

I was over there for 6 months and i just recently returned so correct me if i’m wrong k, but isn’t it mandatory or not if u stayed 6 months you cannot go back to Canada for another 6 months? i mean if this is infact true then are there ways around this b/s i mean this is ridiculous. anything at all i can do tell me. plz.

Kind of new to this whole immigration thing so any help would be appreciated.

In the olden days when you became resident of Canada, in 3 years you could only miss 183 days or you lost your residency and could not apply to become citizen. Now they say if you are a permanent resident, you can miss 2 years all together out of 5, unless you were employed by a Canadian company abroad, or you lived with a Canadian citizen abroad. I am not sure of the 6 months rule, if it is still apply or not. Better to call a consulate. I don’t know anything about US rules.
