What should I do?

I like someone, but so does my best friend. I think that person likes me, but my friend is getting jealous. Once, she tried to win him over, and for a second, I thought that he liked us both. I don’t know what to do! My friend has been my friend since we were 4 years old! And, personally, I feel sorry for the guy that I like. Again, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Friends first. Boyfriends second and last. You can never replace a true friend but you can always replace a boyfriend or a boy that you like.

Well, in some ways, your friend is in the same situation you are. You should talk to your friend about it and try and put your feet in their shoes.

Do you think you’d be alright with your friend and the person being together? Would they be ok with you and the person being together?

If you really want to be with the person and the person really wants to be with you, then I think I true friend would know what to do. It all depends on how much you value your friendship.

Just talk to your friend. Say, hey we both like the same person. I still want us to be friends, no matter what. Could you accept the person and I being together or would that really bother you? I feel __________ about you and him getting together. I don’t want this to ruin our friendship.
