Hey is anyone interested in understanding why God acted the way He did in the Old Testament?

It seems like He is a completely different person in the New Testament doesn’t He? Did you ever get confused trying to understand the justification for a loving God to do something such as this? Hey its called tough love…He set up the rules ..(the law) and they ingnored him and so he sent invading armies to win them back…New testament he sent Jesus alot easier…final sacrifice…Ps and remember too that in the old test THEY asked for a king and they did not need one…God already sent the prophets..so they deserved what they got…same way with me..I ingnore the holy spirit…I suffer ….Hey Have a great one :0)
