Algebra question.

I’ve been trying to get some summer homework done, but I can’t figure out this one problem. Here it is:

-5x(is greater than or equal to; can’t really type that, but it’s < with a line under it) -15 and 2x+3 < 4

It’s that whole inequality thing where you get x to one side, and then have to graph it on a number line with either an open or closed circle. I’ve tried solving it, but I don’t think my answer is right.

-5x >= -15

To get x by itself devide both sides by -5

becomes:

x >= 3

so you would draw a closed circle on 3 and shade to the right with an arrow at the end

… Crap, I just realized I did the wrong sign for the first part. Here’s what it should be:

-5x = -15 and 2x+3 4.

Sorry about that.

Dang, looking up, I see that the symbols didn’t go through on either. Oh well, I think I know where I went wrong anyway. Thanks for the help!
